Gracing for All or for only 40/60,,,199,,,BORDER LINE students?????

Anurag sir posted below answer for grace marks in May 2016 forum:

Generally grace mark is alloted to the student who is at the border but its ICAI . 

Some other guys added to above coment:

ICAI will give grace marks to all students and particulary to that student who is at 198 marks he just need 2 more marks to clear the group. Surely they will not consider more grace marks for giving single subject exemption. Many of my friends failed at 59 marks but no body generally fails at 199 or 399 marks.

I think grae marks are given to students who fail in individual subjects but would pass by adding grace mark in that subject along with whole group/groups.

Grace mark given only to the candidate who scores below 40 in subject or below 200 in group

Dear Ayushi, Grace mark given only to the student who get less than 40 marks in a subject or less than 200 in overal subject .
