In the May 18 paper of CA final direct tax question no 2 was regarding computation of taxable income of a Pvt Ltd company in my answer sheet I made computation of net income as per MAT provisions also. But in just released suggested answers by the Institute there is no computation of income for MAT is it correct? as I am feeling that I unnecessarily wasted my ten minutes in the exam.
Same here. In previous attempts they had explicitly mentioned to ignore MAT. However this was not the case in our attempt. How de we know when we have to compute MAT?
