Surbhi Bansal is best as there are many charts and easy to revise topics day before exams. While studying u have to go like one lesson from Surbhi Bansal and then practice manual provided by ICAI so u can get view how to write answers. For understanding and revision purpose Surbhi Bansal is best.

Surbhi Bansal is good for reference.

However, ICAI practice manual along with 3-4 term RTPs surely will fetch you good marks.

 

No doubt both the books are best

But I will suggest you to have look on the books of Pankaj Garg Sir's also

I think it to be the best

Pls only Institute Material (Latest) and write exactly what is written in ICAI Material .

Cover as much of PM and RTPs it will fetch you good marks.

I had a different view on this question before this attempt's exam however it has changed now.
This is what you can go through :
1.For individual chapters and PE go with Surbhi maam's book(e.g. PE, GIC, Peer review, NBFC, Stock Broker etc)
2.For SAs strictly advising you to go with CA Ravi taori's book. I am recommending this over Surbhi Maam's book is because he provides with the detailed view on each SA with "PNEMONICS" and trend is that summaries are now not expected on SAs in exams but individual aspects are tested and Surbhi maam's book provide a bird point of view not a detailed view.
3.After you are done with the chapter/SA, go through for a prima facie assessment from Study mat what topics were left by the author(if any).I recommend u to download the soft copy of all chapters Study mat in ur PC or mobile for this.
4.Complete PM,RTPs
5.Keep revising.
This strategy will assure you that whatever the level of paper is you will get good marks atleast.
PS. I had taken CA ravi taori's SAs pendrive from CAclubindia and it was worth it so you can check the same also.

For audit, go for vikas oswal. Detailed and conceptual explanations along wth flowcharts for all SA's
