amalgamation in the nature of purchase..while preparing equity share holder AC of selling company whether statutory reserve (investment allowances reserve bal) req. to be shown in dat account if same is given in balance sheet of selling company ? plzz reply

Yes the same shall be taken to Equity shareholder A/c for wriiting off the same, as the same does not become part of Purchasing compnay, when amalgamatiion is in nature of purchase.
