Any news on the recruitments/ Placements for the Nov'12 qualified students? Which all company have recruited this time? What's the highest / avg pay?

wait for next month's journal (hopefully) or may journal.
Around 40-50 companies participated this time.
Highest salary package offered was Rs. 21 lacs
& Lowest around Rs. 5 lacs.
But as usual only 8%-10% of the registered candidates got the job through campus placement.
From 112 com in 2011, to 75 in AugSep 12, to 54 in FebMAr 13.........dono wat nxt.....???????
I only know highest package was 14 lacs offered by ITC Bangalore. Avg was 6.5 LPA......its shocking to note around 500 got placed out of 9000...Im terribly worried........Only god should save us.......
ICAI is fully aware of the situation bemoaning in the entire job market, but unfortunately not trying to address the issue. It has to take adequate measures and infuse confidence amongst all the stakeholders at the earliest, before the ship is going to wreck.
Now the golden question is who is going to bell the cat?
