stipend depends on the firm...nd the works will be completely based on accounts, that is preparing statements and sme times projections and all

Hey dude yes its possible..i passed grp 1 and am awaiting grp 2 results..even im planning to do articleship in dxb..the only difference being that im planning to do 1 year there and then try to get some transfer to chennai so that I can attend finals' classes parellelly 

im in search for articleship in dubai.i hav already written my group2 xams and waiting for results. i hav already applied in some firms, but there is no response from them. can you please tell me some firms wich provide articleship here.

Am not sure about these. Please check it out. This I got knew from one of my friends.

i have already applied with morrison mennon....but there is no positive response..and the other 2 firms are not indian firms.

@ harini Are you sure that they need to be India firms ? I had this small plan to enrol in Ernst & Young for articleship. So I called ICAI Chennai and enquired with them. And all they said was, 'your principal must be an Indian CA'. So from that, I dont think its entirely necessary that the firm must be Indian. 

@ harini......even I had sent my resume to Morison menon nd some odr firms but dint get ny response...nd later my seniors told me that's not d way to introduce articles....u have to appear urself to take d things forward...so I suggest instead f calling up or mailing , goin directly to d firms would be better..

@ wasim....even I enquired in ernest young, Dubai about d article ship sme months back.....but at that time to be precise in August 2011, as per d info i got directly from dem,dey take only Acca interns, also wid d criteria dat dey must hold a degree...nd dey also told ders no possibility of a change in dis policy in d near future....

@ oru ca student  oh i see..but then see..my dad works in E&Y (he isnt a CA)..but he knows a CA working there..so when i passed my Group 1 exams, my dad mailed him just to let him know..n his reply was 'convey my congrats...do contact me after his 2nd group'...if he wanted to say that theres no opportunity for CA students, why would he ask us to contact him again !?
