There is no restrictions to write IAS exams for CA students.. However If you have done your graduation then only you are eligible for IAS exams...

All the very best :)

thank u....\

You can also write IAS if ur a C.A and Dont have any degree with you.

In essence you just need a degree. It can be a CA degree or plain graduation degree.

But only with CA IPCC they are not going to allow you to sit for exams.

Nice intentions, but be ready to work damn hard cos you'll be competiting with India's best breed.

Dear Tulsi

Yes it is true that without a graduation degree one can not sit in IAS exam. But you will be glad to know that after becoming a CA this will be considered equivalent to Master degree. You can then directly go for PhD also.

My advice will be to just concentrate on your study for CA become a CA & then think over IAS.Since at present you have no option of sitting in UPSC exam in 2012.

Also you should be 21 years of age to be eligible to appear for Civil Services examination.

I was completed B.COM(Bank Management) in Madras University(correpondence)... & i'm 21 yrs old (may,3, 1990)....

Now i'm eligible right?
