Building given on rent for commercial puprose

hello, I have a building which I gave on rent to an institution and receiving rent o f 200,000 per year. There are no other incomes apart from my salary. Am I required to charge GST on the rental amount? My tenant is paying me the an amount after deducting some GST, I'm not sure if my tenant's act is justifiable. please suggest.

You are not required to charge GST if your annual turnover is upto an amount of Rs. 20 lakhs per year.
The act of your tenant of deducting GST is not correct.
Yes no gst part will involve in ur case
