Book on Accouting Standards
I am appearing for both the groups in NOV 2006 for CA Final. I am unable to finaliza a book on AS. Right now I am using AS by D S Rawat is that enough. Seeking a quick advice

I just got through a new book on AS-Dolphy D'Souza. It's a very good book as it involves lot of practical questions which rawat does'nt have.It helps to now practical applications of the AS.

There are quite a lot of mistakes in D S Rawat. However you can go for Dolphy D Souza or for Sanjeev Singhal.
These books are very illustrative.

Actually, D S Rawat is enough... the another option you have is of Singhal or D'souza... But considering the time that you are now left with... I personally suggest to go for D S Rawat coz both the other option are very time consuming.....

Rawat is enough for CA Final exam.
No point in wasting time on other books.
Book on AS by MP Vijay Kumar sir is very good but from exam point of view Rawat is more than sufficient.

ya exam point of view, RAWAT is enough...
You are left with too little time to start with a new book. What I advise you is that stick to Rawat for time being. If u think u have some time u can go for MP Vijay kumar book.Thats enough. Dolphy Souza is exhaustive book and takes lot of time to study. May be u can refer his book for Imp AS.All the best.

The book that you have right now is very apt book. But if you have attended any coaching class where they have provided with excellent comprehensive book on AS, then use that. If not, you can use this book itself. It is that book with which I prepared just for 2 months and got 77 in Accountancy Final in Nov 06 exam
