Biz from home

Hi Friends,

Few of my friends started a biz from their home and they registered a company by providing their home address as registered office address. They have few questions:

1. Is this OK if they give their residence address (which is registered office address) as place of biz for VAT registration under KVAT ?. will there be any objections by VAT authorities ?.

2. Is there any rental agreement required for applying during KVAT registration ?.
