Rebate / discount which one of them is the gain for the drawee at the time of retirement of bill?

As per my view., "DISCOUNT" is gain better than Rebate...
i think rebate and discount are one and the same
yeah....As said by bhanu...its just a interchange words.....

Yes... I Agreed. But, Some times it's differred. Better to Understand or think about the difference based on Business Activity.
