As per my opinion rank are matter but our professional experience is must requiring for applying to big 4.

And a fair command over English...

To get in big 4,u need NOT boast of a rank.

 

U should have got your articleship done under them or atleast in some other reputed firm.

 

Else u should impress them in their interview,show deep knowledge in the department u have chosen to be under(like audit/tax/risk assessment)and not argue on pay packages.

These Big4 firms reqruits CA articles ship.. on the basis of your score in IPCC Nd the way you crack  interview...there is no percentage fixed for IPCC result but higher the percentage bigger the chance to be choosen...! Similarly inerview result also matter for admission. they test analytical ablity, communication skill Nd over all good understanding of this profession....! All the best!

Listen brother I just got an articleship offer from pwc and gave interviews in kpmg and delloite I can honestly say they have a min criteria 1)u should have passed college(this wouldnt apply if u have a partner reference) 2) u should have passed both groups of ipcc-rank would give u a better chance of getting the interview but as long as u have passed both groups together or alone Iin case of college without failing would be the best these are the basic criterias they look at before calling u to an interview After u get an interview and pass the 1st round that is the test round after that all candidates in that room going for upcoming rounds are equal and what will get u through is ur communication skills and analytical skills best of luck brother

What for those who r in 2nd year of college and hv cleared ipcc.........???? Not done graduation....

U might get a chance if u have a reference but ull have obviously have to leave college ive seen them take people out who are still in college cause they want a person who is completely free and done with everything
