which book should I prefer for CPT other than the institution book

books issued by institute would suffice the purpose of exam prep.
and if u want to practice maths and quant, then for maths class 12th cbse book author R.S.. Aggarwal will be best
Institute's study material is the best.. You could practice with the scanners which helps you to evaluate yourself..
