I am currently in std 12 (in Mumbai). I will be appearing for cpt in June 2014. I wish to join Podar College, Matunga for doing Fybcom. can anyone tell me about the attendance rules in Podar college and is any sort of concession given to the ca students (with regards to attendance)? Also, will this college be ok if i get to do my articleship with the Big4. also, how many outstation audits will I have to do and what is the time period of one outstation audit?

Podar is strict in attendance.. I guess they have that 80% attendance rule...No concession is given for professional students. Outstation audits depends on the type of company you do your articleship and no.of days also depend on the size of the client.. nobody can tell you or give you any deadlines as such.. However outstation audit is usually for a maximum span of 12 - 15 days.. not beyond that

There is no concession for ca students in R.A.PODAR College for attendance as 90% of students are doing ca. With regards to articleship u can miss 4th lecture onwards for going for acticleship after following official procedure & for outstation audit I think, no college will provide any concession, that u will have to manage.
