B.com with c.a.

B. Com. has nothing to do with CA. So i would request you to see the B. Com. from a different angel. There are no adverse consequences if one pursue CA only. But being a graduate course i would advise you to do it. According to me it is a different feeling being a graduate. Well this is my opinion.

YES IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO CARRY ON BCOM ALONG WITH CA. YOU CANNOT COMPARE BCOM WITH CA. BOTH ARE HAVING ITS OWN IMPORTANCE. IT IS BETTER TO HAVE A GRADUATE WITH YOU.......... BEING A GRADUATE WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT FEELING. HAVING GRADUATE WITH CA  WILL HAVE BETTER JOB PROSPECTS. MY ADVISE IS TO GO FOR CA ALONG WITH GRADUATE. 

GO FOR B.COM ALONG WITH CA BUT B.COM SHOULD BE DONE IN A DISTANCE MODE,WHERE YOU WOULD NOT WASTE U R TIME ATTENDING CLASSES.U CAN COMPLETE THE ENTIRE PORTION OF B.COM(1ST YEAR) IN CPT AND B.COM(2ND AND 3RD YEARS)IN IPCC.SO GO TO A UNIVERSITY IN U R  LOCALITY AND APPLY FOR B.COM.GRADUTION WILL NOT SHOW ANY IMPACT ON CARRER.GRADUTION IS DONE BY CA STUDENTS JUST BE ON SAFE SIDE.CONCENTRATE MORE ON CPT.

Many corporates today are asking for graduation along with CA.

n wat if i go for b.com (a&f) from ignou...............is this a gud course?

Well said CHUCK,I am BCOM second yr student with IPCC...i would advice you anamika to go for the same...like you i also thought of first  doing Bcom(a &f) but then you will not be able to give enough time for CA as Bcom A & F has lot of regular projects and the timings are also different...Bcom is usually done in the morning and BAF is from 9 to 4 approx...

i would also like you to be very clear in your mind regarding CA bcoz some of my friends have now dropped the plan of CA and preparing to do MBA....if not intrested in CA then take BAF as it has more value than plan Bcom...

So finally be sure if u wana do CA as its not easy,very challenging......if still not clear consult a carrer counselor...hope this post helped!!!
