Ay 2013-14 return filing..

Please any one can suggest me for filing of income tax for the AY 2013-14.. can I do IT filing for this assessment year now?... reply as soon as possible...

It is not possible because you have to file the return within two years from the end of financials years in which you have to file the return.

Dear Abhishek,

Wait for the department to issue a notice u/s 142(1) of the income tax act, then you can file you 'out of time' return as well. If you are in a hurry, check your jurisdictional AO on the link https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Services/KnowYourJurisdictionLink.H T M L , then make an application asking him to issue a notice u/s 142(1) of the income tax act, then only you can file you out of time return.

Otherwise, there is no possible method now to file your AY 2013-14 ROI.

You can send a letter to department for approval return filling under section 119(2).

We can file the return online for AY 2013-14 only as responce to notice from department u/s 142(1),while filing we need to mention filing is u/s 142(1).

If 142(1) is not received then also we can file the return by submitting return through counter in relevant ASK centre if Net Taxable income is below 5Lakhs.

For Assesses having income more than 5Lakhs need to contact local AO for issuence of 142(1).

I have another query... If there is a refund in that AY 2013-14.. then what will be the result or the way to file.. Will be there any changes in filing?
