i think u should see the field in which ur interested....tax is better option especialy indirect tax to look for future..

Agreed with Varun, but you need to go to line you have expert knowledge..that will be better because withou perfect knowledge client will not come to you......

Guys hw will a fresher know whr his intrest lies an no firm gives him exposure in both departements and ask them whr there intrest lies 

70% of firm pushes their article in  audit and and rest just ask them to file tax  returns in  software which is not the real work......

It depends on which field u want to make ur career 

Go for audit whn u do audit, u mst hav knwd of taxation also.... so it will improve ur skills....

if u opt for taxation thn in there i sno linking of audit....

furture one more thng u may get frustated in audit bcoz u do ur work as per sections n wat law say but client say i do wat i wan n ur sr also ignore ur quries n sign the bsheet... that may hurt u bt in taxation client hav to leason u...

Bt according to e audit is good bcoz in audit u mst hav knd of diff n all fields n gt g8 exposre n diff work in auditing....

what ever  you choose you will do well but remember not to do  it as a businesss but as a profession with ethics
