Hi all,

Can anybody help me about termination of articles, presently i am doing aticles in a large firm and my exams are nearing by, so i want to do the articles in a small firm so that i will have sufficent time for exams and also the study holiday, but my pricipal (member) under whom i am registered is not giving termination nor transfer of atciles . what shalli do , plz help me out . plz reply to me, my email id is gopallco @ gmail.com

You can send a email to the ICAI Delhi, regarding the same. Trust me the response will be prompt. Please bear in mind you are not an employee of the Firm. You are only bound to your principal to the extent of what the ICAI specifies. The Deed of Articles can be terminated at any time during the articleship period. At no instance can any Prinicipal not accede to a request for termination. Please inform the principal of your decision to intimate the Institute and if he still does not budge send the mail immediately. If he is smart he will oblige otherwise he will face the music. Guaranteed. Hope this will suffice.

hey!! you're not bound to anybody.. you can seek termination whenever you want.. this is the FUNDAMENTAL Right the institute has provided the students....So do talk to your principal once again coolly k... all the bast buddy!!!!
