We are in pharmaceutical manufacturing & have procured "Standard Weights" for calibration of weighing balance(scale). The cost of the weights is Rs.3.00 Lakhs.
Please suggest under what head these assets should be classified???

It should be classified under the head Plant & machinery, as the weighing balance is an machinery & the standard weights are being used in relation to such madhinery.
