First off, the ICAI rules regarding Articleship iseasy and your Big4 and most reputed audit firms have their own rules fully complying ICAI rules and a lot of their own.
Their timings are more practicable and sometimes you will work till midnight. Deadlines push you to your limits.
ICAI rules regarding stipend like their timings though practical, are miniscule. The Big4 & Others pays you big compared to the ICAI rules sometimes crossing 20k.
Remember, wherever you do your articleship its what you gain by practice and study rather than moolah and raking it up easy.
