Articleship confusion :(

I have already registered for IPCC (MAY 2010 1ST ELIGIBILITY) under cpt scheme ... but could not clear group I of IPCC. now im planning to register under direct entry scheme i have completed my b.com degree with 59%.. now last date to convert from ipcc schme to direct entry scheme is septeember 30th 2012.

now i have 2 doubts:

1. last dte for submission of conversion forms is 30th september. does it mean i have to sign articleship before september 30th to be eligible to write may 13 exams?

2. i have uploaded my resume to various audit firms who have advertised in the regional office notice board, chennai.i didn't get any response. just 10 more days for the last date, what shall i do now???!

AS IT IS SEPTEMBER MONTH NO BODY MIGHT NOT CONCENTRATE ON THIS,U JUST CONTACT CA OFFICE DIRECTLY,AND CONFIRM WITH THEM

Try to join article before sep 30, it will be better for may exam 13. Dont wait for till sep 30.

you will have to mandatorily commence articled training before sept 30. As the busy month september is on, better go to the office in person, doing online applications might not just work at this time.

They would be kind enough to give you accurate info and help on the same.

I can also answer your query but it's not a logical issue to share views on.

In such cases you need to have the exact knowledge.

As advised by fellow members, yes you need to join articleship before 30th Sept in order to write May 2013 exams. Better to visit the firm address directly to know the latest status of the vacancy and to submit the resume.

Hi nandhini better you to the institute and get direct response from the institute itself. just get help from friends to get article register by their known firms its not right to search for audit firms. only 10 more days to go so better go and register first and write your exam on MAY 2013
