Articleship before ipcc result

Dear Priyankadimri..

You will be eligible for articleship only after clearing the 1st group of IPCC.

Right now one thing you could do... that you can confirm your firm via which you

wanna pursue your articleship means aap kuch CAs se baat kar sakte hai ki jab apka result aa jaega toh aap unke under me articleship karenge.... so that without any delay after favourable result you can go through your

training....

Thanks for the reply Urvashi but i have heard from one of my friends who is doing articleship that before clearing ipcc too we can start articleship.... that is why i have posted this topic to gain more knowledge about this..

Priyanka,  may be your friend has cleared 1st group.. Otherwise there is no such rule....

She has cleared both groups and after ipcc results only she has started articleship.... but there are some articles in that firm where she is doing articleship who have started their articleship before their results.... 

Oh... So then you can confirm this with firm, aapki bhi shuru ho jaye shayad...

Hy there, you can cannot start your articles unless you have cleared 1st group of IPCC... Very few firms would accomodate you as article before results... even if you start your practical training in the name of articles you would be only allowed to register your self with institute after ur IPCC results... And the date of commencement of your articles would not b considered from now but after the results are declared...

So in brief even if u start ur practical training, you would have to serve 3years from the results andthis months btwn Nov and feb wont be taken into consideration...

It's a good idea of informally joining a CAfirm in advance.

You will come to know  about the work and firm .

This will play a crucial role when you will be eligible to join...i.e... after clearing First/Both Group(s)

Priyanka u may join the firm no one CA can reject u but u know tally,ms-office, practically n with ITT/OTC then u will get job...aap kisi bhi CA firm me aply kar sakte hain n wohi firm decide karegi ki apko rakhna hai yaa nahi.....its ur crucial decision n time so watch n catch it dont leave for future ....best of luck...respected CA paras bafna ji ne bhi sahi raay di hai..agar aapne itt n otc ki hai aap kisi bhi CA firm me jayiye with ur resume n proper attiquets n b ready for interview if any......tc

 i have completed my itt and orientation..

can you please also tell me the names of the firm where i can apply... coz i dont think that without qualifying ipcc any big firm will entertain me.... so for now i have to start with mediocre firms only....

u can work as paid assistant and can gain experience.

but this period shall not be included in    " articleship period of 3yrs"

It's possible but It's depends upon your Principal if he allow you to count from till date then you may save 2 or 2.5 months of your Articleship and may get exemption at the time of leave of final exame. This is called Pre-Articleship. Do One thing join anywhere then if you are comfortable then carry on after the results otherwise leave.
