Hi Harikrishna, Before you take a decision just let me clarify a few things for you

• Articleship is not a piece of cake, have you heard of Top 20 Firms, well if you don’t know in the first year you only learn how to handle the photocopier in the first year and it usually gets better in terms of scope of work but you should know that when the work increase so should be our patience and persistence.
• Secondly if you think and carefully access the following below mentioned pointers and you should work fast upon it as already 11 months have passed then you should get a transfer ASAP as if not done then the rules for transfer after the 1st year is impossible unless you have a genuine eligible reason
  • The firm will not give you enough time for your studies in 2nd or Final year and studies include coaching/Self-study and Examination period
  • Too much travelling will be involved in the final year
  • Nature of work is good but ‘True harassment’ will also be there
  • You wouldn’t be able to cope up on any other factor

• But before you jump on the conclusion have your alternatives ready as transfer will have atleast pull you back 3 to 4 months or almost an attempt and you should be ready for it. Why I said at least was because if you were not able to find another firm that is suitable for you as per your criteria then it could get further delayed.
