There is restrictions on transfer in first 6 month and last 12 months of your articleship if you are rejoining in same city.

u cant register with in the same city

transfer is allowed in only two conditions

1. transfer of your parents

2. medical grounds

no other way to transfer

I am Sanchit ,I have completed my 2 years and 1month articleship,But the problem is that I have taken 180 days excess leave upto 31st jan 2009, my queries are

1) wheather I am eligible for the nov 2009 final attemp,and what is the impact of the those leaves which I have taken. 

2)Since I leave that firm on 31st jan 2009 and from that onwards I have not joined any of the firm,but In examination form principal signature is required,Is it possible to submitt form without having principal signature in it.

Hi Sanchit,

you are very well eligible for the attempt. The excess leave of 180 days wont affect on your attempt. However, when your original articleship will end, i mean, the period of 3 yrs / 3 1/2 yrs, which ever is applicable, at taht time, the calculation will be made about the total leave taken and accordingly if your leave exceeds the permitted level, then you will have to serve for the extended period.

hi im doing pcc my attemt is may 2010.i had joined articleship frm oct-08 under Saurabh shrivastav & associates in bhopal from july onwards i want to change my articleship to hyderabad bcoz of transfer of my father`s job.am i able to do?

Yes, you shall be able to get rermination if u r taking it bcoz of your father's transfer

First write PCC peacefully...Try to go to audit and learn lot from ur existing auditor... Then soon after writing ur exam, u can think over. Once if u get rank everything will be alright--there might be change in ur plans too...https://www.icai.org/post.html?post_id=4246&c_id=219

i m a pcc student, my attempt is due in may 2010. i started my articleship frm 1st august 2008 nd now would like to take transfer. can i do tht now after the new guidlines.

VARUN DIS SIDE .. U CANT TAKE TRANSFER ON THE BASIS OF NEW RULES ISSUED BY THE ICAI. BUT I THINK BEFORE 30TH APRIL U CAN TAKE TRANSFER ... BUT AFTER 30TH APRIL U CAN TAKE TRANSFER ON TWO CONDITIONS-

1. TRANSFER OF UR PARENTS

2. MEDICAL GROUNDS
