Yes, it is mandatory to complete ITT & OP before joining articleship. If u dont complete ur ITT or OP, then ur artcleship will not be counted.

Its not required. But You should complete ITT and orientation before you pass both groups of IPCC.

No, its required. One of my frnd has started her artcleship in April but haven't completed her orientation & she completed her orientation in July. Now according to ICAI, she has registered for artcleship from July only. She has even gone to institute to talk about this, but they are saying before joining articleship, ITT & oreintation is must. Otherwise, u'll not be registered for articleship.

I totally agree with u @ Khushboo Goyal, The same case has also happened with one of my office friend.
