If you think you wrote the exams well then go for industrial training

but in my opinion industrial training is only for last 6 months of ur articles period only, check it once.

mean while complete your GMCS Classes.

my suggestion is go for industrail training

Industrial training can be done for minimum 9 mths and max 12 mths of your articleship period.... So you are eligible for industrail training in the last year of your articleship...

But you need to check with the institute regarding the procedure as there is a clause of giving 3 mths notice to your current principal...

and Kindly share the info you get regarding the procedure as I am also planning to do IT after appearing for May 11 exam..

One can go for IT only in the last 12 months of his/her articles - Min. for 9 months, max. for 12 months..

So.. if u really want a good work-ex, do go for the IT. .

In my opinion you should go for industrial training......since being in ur current firm u r not getting any exposure other than audit.......but if u go in industrial training u may get the chance to work in taxation field........

Swathi i am also facing same situation we r having only 1 Concurrent audit of bank so even my final year of article ship will begin from Feb even i m trying to get relieved from my firm

Hi All,

If any of u really wanna do IT mail me your resume at raksha.agarwal @ db.com. We need ITs at Deutsche Bank, Mumbai.

Hi

Industrial Training

Industrial training is a training scheme by which a student can undergo practical training within an industrial undertaking having specified amount of fixed assets or turnover or paid-up share capital. Industrial training can be commenced during the last one year of articleship. Industrial training can be performed in financial, commercial, industrial undertakings with minimum fixed assets of Rs.1 crore; or minimum total turnover of Rs. 10 crore; or minimum paid–up share capital of Rs. 50 lakhs; or such other institutions or organization as may be approved by the Council from time to time. The period of industrial training may range between 9 months and one year. The industrial training shall be received under the member of the Institute. An associate who has been a member for a continuous period of at least 3 years shall be entitled to train one industrial trainee at a time and a fellow shall be entitled to train two industrial trainees at a time. There should be an agreement of industrial training in Form No.104. On satisfactory completion of industrial training by an articled/audit assistant, the associate/fellow member under whom the industrial training is received shall issue a certificate in Form No.105 in respect of the training undergone. It is required to maintain details of work undertaken and training received in the prescribed format.
