Are there no employment or under employment of fresh CA?

yes u r right...bt we have to be patient..tats  all..

Are you saying that new qualified CAs are not get good job.? i am not agree with you because if u have good articleship experience and communication skill than u really get good job. but this time few person not get job that does mean now CA not require in market. it only effect of globle change in  economy.

If u see in caclub india job portal than u also realised that CA demand in market.

if few person choose job at lower cost that means they have not good experience. so when any one appoint as a CA than they also belive that the person they choose is right for that job..

so my opnion it all depend on our knowledge along with articleship experience.

Situation is worse than what u r sayin....i know many more ca's getting placed in IOC, Corporation Bank, Indian Bank only coz they r sc/obc....no articleship experience required...

In current scenario, if articleship experience benefits then that only in case of Articleship from Big fours...nothing else....

All game is of Demend and supply at this time in market.....

Being a degree holder of CA means u have enough knowledge and skills coz IICAI awards dwgree to those persons only.

Agreed. I m seeing people who passed in 3 attempts getting job offers because of their articleship experience,whereas people passing in 1st attempt but having no or less exposure in practical life are struggling.And I am talking about people from mid level firms Its the truth,we are not "job ready" people. CA title gives you the recognition that you are theoretically sound as to different aspectsof financial world.

Completely agreed...

This is hard to digest but it is the real situation in the market...

the above line is from Prateek's reply but but

mr.prateek, u r right bt only upto some extent... cos see the same job portal in CA Club.. most of the employers are offering salary Rs50,000  to Rs.1,50,000.

It is shameful..

we cleared "CA"  with the great struggle and aftr a long battle of 3 or 3.5yrs of articleship. The CA's are not getting degree by simple or ordinary efforts.

I have a few questions for u guys..pls answer..

1)Suppose everybody doing CA gets good articleship exposure, do u think all of them will be placed?

2)The placements a few years ago was not this bad. Around 35-40% candidates were placed in the campus & the remaining ones got jobs off campus. We didnt see this kind of a scenario then. So are you saying that all the passouts then had good articleship exposure & were employable?

3)Dont u think there is a limit to everything..When u produce something in excess of its demand, however good the finished product is, wouldnt it be difficult to market it?

To sum  it up, I agree with u that articleship from a good firm,communication skills all play a part in getting a job..& these are even more crucial in these times when the competition is huge..But I dont think all the above attributes guarantee a job. I also dont think that everybody who is sitting jobless are unemployed bcoz of the lack of such attributes. To me the present condition has to do more with the demand supply factor. In the span of 4-5 years, the passouts have increased at least three times..But have the no. of available jobs inreased to such an extent??

I am may passed out CA nd still Unemployed....(due to 11000+ CAs in may 2011)

In last eight months i tried hard, But ,,

then i thought that result of Nov. 2011 will less..and situation will come into control......but this time also situatin is worse..

Believe friends my lots of friends come into practise due to unemployed and taunt from family..

most of are working in ca firms @ 15-20k..and lots of may2011 are still unemployed...

nd whenever i wanted to share in CAclub..then I got lots of advises..from seniors...and ..our future CAs..

(they advise me about that, those i have already did..like use job portals..upload cv..etc..

nothing happen from that i got call only from consultant and they demand reg. fees)

I got the offer of 25k in my city for work like accountant..i denied that..not due to salary but due to profile..

I wanna to request to all our seniors and juniors to stop nonsense advises...

we fresher know about ourself very well...and whats d criteria from all of urs side,,that if no one get offer.,then deffinently there is minus points of him...

I lost my last eight months due to wrong policy of icai.,

But i thankfull to my parents..those are continue with me...

And the end..all CAs of 2011..we cant do anything,,without depend on our luck..

(all students plz dont comment like a expert,,really believe us situation of CAs of 2011 is very very very worse.......

OMG!!! Its shocking ... those who are in CPT & IPCC better try to do 2 professional courses...  like CA with CS or CA with CWA or CA with IIA etc... It might increase the chances of job placement

I completely agree with you Mr.JAIN....the situation of CA's passed in May 2011 and Nov 2011 are very very very worse. Companies knowing the huge supply of CA's are not participating in ICAI campus. Companies are of the view that Instead of paying a huge sum to ICAI, they can gat CA's at their doorsteps through advertisement.

The market rate of CA's are reduced. Still lot of my friends cleared in May2011 are looking for jobs.

STARTING A PRACTICE IS NOT A EASY TASK.IT TAKES MINIMUM 2 MONTHS TO REGISTER A FIRM WITH ICAI AND THEN 1-2 YEARS LOOKING FOR  CLIENTS AND BANK AUDITS ETC.PLUS THERE ARE ETHICS ALSO TO BE FOLLOWED.

Job are not so good in market.
