4 years from the end of the financial year in which the order sought to be rectified is passed

it's better to apply to Income tax Appeals if the case is genuine on behalf of the assesse in pescribed form after paying requisite fees which are nominal.

Sapna, you can file application for Rectification under Section 154 within 4 years from the end of FY in which Order is passed. ( as also advised by Mr. Rama.) That's what your query is ...Right.
