Applicability of TDS on SODEXO Food Coupens
Whether Tax is to be deducted for the food coupens supplied by the SODEXO?

If employer is providing Meal coupons to employee then it is not taxable in the hands of employee and it is not attracting FBT also
it wont attract FBT only if these coupons are non- transferrable
NO Fbt is applicable is non transferable
Income tax is to be deducted (TDS) on payments to Sedexo.
I understand that Sedexo has taken a certificate for lower rate/nil rate but you must ask a copy of the said certificate so that in TDS return you can give the reference of same.
Whether TDS is to be deducted on total invoice amt or only on service charges?
TDS is on Service Charge and not on Total Invoice.
