A Real Estate Pvt ltd company providing Services by way of construction of original works pertaining to low cost houses up to a carpet area of 60 sq.m per house in a housing project approved by the competent authority under the “Affordable housing in partnership” are being exempted from service tax.
Is it required to pay Service Tax under reverse charges on receiving of Man Power Services or any others????? Please suggest me

SERVICE THAT IS PROVIDED BY WORK CONTRACTOR IS EXEMPT FROM TAX BUT IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT ANY SERVICE THAT IT WILL RECEIVE WILL BE EXEMPT . SUPPLY OF MANPOWER IS TAXABLE BUT LIABILTY TO PAY IS THAT OF RECEIVER ALSO AS IT IS COVERED UNDER PARTIAL REVERSE CHARGE.
WORK CONTRACTOR CAN CLAIM IT AS IT IS AS INPUT SERVICE AGAINST ANY OTHER TAXABLE SERVICE ( IF PROVIDES)
