CARO 2016 is only applicable for November 2020 attempt. The same has also been clarified by ICAI in it's announcement section. You can refer the BoS portal for more information.

You can refer Board of Studies (BoS) Announcement Section to find out the applicable amendments, standards, notifications etc which are applicable for November 2020 term. The Announcement was released on "15th July 2020" , which clearly states that CARO 2016 issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) dated 29th March 2016 is applicable for November 2020 Examination.
