Anyone appearing for ca finals in may2018.need complete help

I am a very old student who registered for the CA finals more than a decade ago but could not give the exams due to some reasons. Now , I am interested in giving my exams this May 2018. I have undergone revalidation process and I am eligible to give the exams this May 2018.

i am thinking of starting with group 1 and give it in May 2018

As I am not in touch with the course and mode of study, I need complete help.

1. Which course material to refer to? The authors and the books.

2. From where to get all such study material , books and notes etc as its difficult to get the books from the nearest good book stores. The new editions are not available.

I am from west Delhi. Is there anyone who is appearing for May 2018 CA finals under existing scheme and can help me with the same.

For old course:

Fr- Refer Praveen Sharma (Atom Bomb) or do Study Mat + PM.

SFM- You can either refer leaked classes of Aditya Jain or Sanjay Saraf & take the study material of these teachers from photostat vendor in Laxmi Nagar or in your area. Or you can self study from SD Bala.

Audit: Take classes from Kamal Garg or Refer Vinod Agarwal book on Audit or Oswal book.

Law: Self study from Munish Bhandari's main book.

You can refer these. Best of luck... New additions will either come by January. You can take old addition (Nov-17) for Fr & Sfm to start with, then in January you can take Audit & Law books.

Also refer PMs of these subjects to get clarity.

in my view you should opt for new scheme of education..n use only study materials provided by icai.. all study materials are very awesomely prepared by icai.. you have to convert to new scheme by choosing optional subject for which open book exam will be there. further, you can also easily find coaching classes online or in pen drive mode for new course. all the very best

Hello Indira,

In my personal opinion there is no need for coaching for any subject.Its ha sbecomeour habit that we dont want to strain our mind and put it to work.We all want easy things given to us in a platter.

Institute 's study material is well prepared ,please go for conceptual understanding in every topic.

After conceptual understanding ,for practicsing questions ICAI's practice manual and you may refer Problems And Solutions IN Costing by Ravi M Kishore or Saxena Vashist ( CA FINAL ).

I am aslo following the same pattern ,that why advising you the same .

It will save your time, money and energy .
