Amendments in CA final audit syllabus

Important announcement by ICAI for November 2017 exams: 
ICAI has issued the list of Standards/ Amendments etc. which are applicable for November 2017 exams. Please note that they have NOT included revised 700 series including SA 701 which will now be applicable wef 1.4.2018 in this list. I had already clarified about it in my post 2 months back. So please concentrate on your studies as per the list mentioned on this link. My revised edition applicable for November 2017 which is available in market, already contains these topics which are made applicable by ICAI in today's announcement.

Further till now there has been no change in syllabi of Audit at Final stage and you can continue with the same course which was made applicable for May 2017. After covering that please also go through the RTP which will be issued somewhere in September also. 

Nothing can be predicted as of now, if anyone provides you with syllabus of Advanced Auditing and Professional ethics with utmost clarity then that shall be pure speculation, what I can assure is following topics will not be deleted and by deleted I mean if any amendment comes it would be in addition to what is already available:

• Professional ethics
• Insurance/Bank audit/cooperative society/NBFC
• All standards other than SAs that means SREs, SAEs etc
• Revised SA 700 series which is on Reporting
