Dear Friends,

In amalgamation order... all properties of transferor companies are vested in transferree company. Need to change the title in such documents. How to proceed in this regard,

You have to request to the concerned registering authority where title deed of the property was registered alongwith a copy of High Court order for noting change of name in the records.

Is stamp duty is payable again. Because stamp duty on amalgamation is paid on the basis of valuation of shares allotted to transferor companies.

Stamp duty is payable as per State Stamp Act on the order of High Court.  No further duty is payable for noting change of name in the land records.
