Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether traders purchasing castor seeds from farmers and selling to other registered dealers need to pay Reverse Charge (RCM) under GST. The consensus is that RCM is not applicable as castor oil seeds are nil-rated for GST. While no GST is payable, registered traders must maintain GST accounts. If the purchase value exceeds £50,000, an e-way bill is mandatory for movement. Importantly, even without RCM, input tax credit (ITC) cannot be claimed on these purchases.
If u registered u will keep all books of accounts as per GST law. Not registered ,u will b issues bill of supply documents to a registered dealer.if value of goods above 50000/- e way bill is mandatory for the movement of goods.
RCM not applicable, but if u issued an purchase invoice against ur inward supply from urp, ITC can not claim, which will b shown in the blocked ITC as igst paid on import goods.
