in first case, on or before 31.12.2019
and in the latter case, 31.12.2020

Hello saksham

First things first I think you should know the ending date of financial year in different cases

As per Sec 2(41) of CA,2013 a company incorporated on or before 31st of December of any financial year shall have its financial year end on 31st day of march of same financial year.

However, if it is incorporated on or after 1st day of january shall have its financial year ending on 31st day of march of following financial year.

And talking about most stringent time limit as provided in Companies Act,2013 i.e without taking CG extension is 6 months from the end of financial year.

Answering to your question- In the first case, as company is incorporated before 31st dec shall have its financial year end on 31st march, 2019 and from there 30th september,2019 is the last date for convening AGM of company.

AND, in the second case, incorprated on or after 1st day of jan shall have its fin. year ending on 31st march,2020 and such company needed to convene its AGM on or before 30th sep,2020
