Yes, if your company article permit you can held AGM without presence of any Director.
Article 52 of Schedule I Table A says that if at, any meeting no director is willing to act as chairman or if no director is present within fifteen minutes after the time appointed for holding the meeting the members present shall choose one of their number to be the chairman of the meeting.
It means u can hold the AGM without any director.

Yes, an AGM can be held without the Director. However, practically directors have to be present so that they answer the questions of the shareholders about the working of the Company.
