Act says AGM should be conducted in Business Hours,

Not like its should be Started or Ended in Business hrs

So, whole meeting should be in Business Hrs

As per the , the meeting should be hed on working day and during the business hours. It clearly means that the meeting heas to be held in business hours.

YES IN BUSINESS HOUR....

yes it has to be held in business hours and should be concluded within business hours if not it should be adjourned.

Agreed with all of the above. The AGM should be conducted within Business hours. This automatically excludes Sundays (many people do ask if AGM can be held on Weekends).

Thank you..

but what about the AGM expenditure that is incurred after business hours?

i.e dinner provided to the members for AGM ??

Very simply put, Dinner for Members of the Company after AGM will most likely be treated as 'Entertainment Expenses.' Legally speaking, Dinner is not at all a part of AGM. If offered, it's completely a voluntary action of the Company and will be treated as an informal event.
