Advanced Tax Carry Forward

Hi everyone, 

I successfully filed my ITR for the year. However, my advanced tax got a Tax Credit Mismatch as I mistakenly entered the wrong date of when I paid the tax. As a result, the money I paid as Advanced Tax is stuck up. 

Now, I have two questions.
1. Should I let it be and carry it forward to the next AY and add it to my next year's ITR? Will I be allowed to claim it then?

2. What would be the process to get the it back? (Maybe rectification request?)
