I am Salaried. I have paid Advance Tax on 29th Marh 2018 with SBI. Amount credited with SBI beofre 31st March. Bank did not enter Challan beofre 31st. Now while entering Challan on Govt. I Tax site due change of FY it does not accept as Advance tax for FY.2017-18 Ass Y 2018-19. (Chalan 280) Advance Tax (100).
Request inputs for way forward.
please check 26as in that a.y. which paid tax.
if it is found in your 26As, nothing will be done as it is advance tax or self assessment tax, you will claim the tax in your return while file income tax return .
