Dear All,

We are filing Form ADT -1 for newly appointed auditors who has been appointed for the period of 5 years, subject to ratification by shareholders each year , please let me know what period we shall mention in the said ADT -1 , 1 year or 5 year .

do we need to file form ADT -1 each year.

As per your query , the period of 5 years you have to mention in ADT-1
and reply of your second query is that as per section139(2) read with rule 4(2) , the notice to the registrar about the appointment of auditor shall be in form adt-1 and section 139(1) appointment includes reappointment . since the word used are appointment includes reappointment therefore it may be inferred that form adt-1 is not required to filed.
