but how can we stop d huge mass adopting dis policy....its really difficult 2 handle..

See, though you go for few more attempts in long run say after 5 years you will be much ahead, in general, against dummy as they lack the basic experience. so no need to worry. There is no way dummy arcicleship can be eliminated

Dummy articleship is never a good idea.

I think articleship is the only reason why i have opted for the CA course.

However, i do agree that institute has given all the powers to the principal to exploit the students.

You see it from any point, whether leave, working hours, transfer, pursuing any other course including bcom...etc, you will find that employer has been given the powers to decide upon these matters and students cant do anything about it. This makes the position of the student farily weak and helpless.

But who cares??????? CA, CS, ICWA, MBA, CFA or say whatever, for millions of people like me....all this is just an entry test to get an easy entry into the industry. For those who take these courses as nothing but an entry test to get into the industry shouldn't bother much because they have nothing to do with any institute, nor the membership of ICAI is mandatory.

I have come across enormous people in the industry who never had any communication with ICAI after getting the CA final marksheet. That was enough for them to get their dream jobs or to go a step forward in getting an entry into the industry.

It is absolutely frustating & demotivating to see the inaction of the administration to ignore the issue.Because of the continuation of this, CA profession is loosing it's charm to the bright students & competitiveness in the market.Many fear it may the begining of the END.

Ya i do agree with ur point.The solution can be by increasing the no of leaves allowed for exams.U need to be really brilliant to clear exam in 6 months.3 years of articleship is really excess.By increasing no. of leaves during articleship people can be encouraged to articlleship

Yes man you are absoluely right there are many pe-2 and more number of pe- students who go for dummy Articleship with the help of friends or their relatives.

But the big thing is that CA will never say that he has given Dummy Articleship to any one .

Even my own previous Employer has given to 2 of them who are CA finalist whole time and what he was actually saying to us that he is going to some other place for work but he never mentioned the PLACE, COMPANY NAME AND WHAT KIND OF WORK ABOUT WHICH I AM 100% SURE OF IT NO MATTER HE SAYS TO ME OR THE OTHER ARTICLES AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN THOSE ARTICLES COMING EVEN A SINGLE DAY THEY JUST CAME FOR 2 TIMES JUST TO MEET HIM.

I THINK THAT ICAI SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

But i think The institue is doing its best to curb the same... however no matter how strict the institute gets if at the members and student level there is no change Dummy is inevitable... Institute is doing its best for eg.

1. Cheque Payments Compulsory.

2. Every student has a right to complain if he notices a dummy.

3. They are monitoring coaching classes during working hours.

one of you mentioned that he knows of some dummy articles. Why DONT YOU COMPLAIN.... Instead of grumbling.... ACT...

dummy articlship is a big issue . it should be solved.i think half the ca battle is won if you are undergoing the dummy articleship.

I think there must be a system.

If any one wants to practise after becoming CA, Then he have to do but If any one wants to do job??

Then articleship is of no use or very less important.

Institute shall consider this point & accordingly do some arrangements.

Hi i am agreed with mangula . Those students who passed the exam.by taking dummy usualy safer so u donot require to bother about them & concentrate on exam
