Smart ways of ending conversation when the other person is not getting the hint that you want to end the conversation..Instead of interrupting others, you can interrupt yourself..

- Before I forget, i need to ask Preity a question. Will you excuse me ?’
- By the way, do you know where the restroom is?’
- Can you tell me what time it is? Oh no! Say,excuse me, but i’ve got to make a call.
- I’d like you to meet Karan. Let’s go and say hello to him
- I have a question for Shiv about his speech. Do you want to come with me?
- I hope we can do business together at some point. Here’s my card
- I’m sorry, but i need to take some medication now
- I need to have a word with someone from my department, and it looks as though he’s leaving
- I was hoping to meet a few potential clients this afternoon. I should probably get started
- It’s been wonderful meeting you
- Will you excuse me for a minute? I need to check on something.
- Will you excuse me? I’m going to find a restroom
- Would you excuse me? I just spotted someone i haven’t seen in twenty years.
Originality is not everything. The words hosts most want to hear when the evening is over are ‘THANK YOU, i had a wonderful time’ & ‘Good Night’.
