Never get confused. Study the Study Material provided by BOS ICAI, Study the Practice Mannual for questions and solve the questions asked from 2004 to 2014 attempts (All this is available at BOS ICAI site). You can also go through Past Years RTP and Mock tests. Remember questions from ASs are repetitive in nature i.e. similar type of questions are asked repeatedly. Very less surprise questions for IPCC ASs. I got 62 in Accounts 1 and  again 62 in Advanced Accounts. I never studied any other book except Institute's material available. To add on - - you can watch Praveen Sharma Sir lectures to make the concepts easily undestandable. All the lectures are available at Youtube. I suggest not to get confused with more and more author's books.
