I got registered with ICAI during 1987. I had few papers exempted of CA Intermediate. During 1990 I met am accident and lost my right arm. It was amputed from the shoulder. After many years I approached ICAI to re validate my registration and I had completed my article training. Finally ICAI agreed in 2015 and I started my student life again at the age of 52 years. All that started with a joke though I thought it will end my internal pain which I carried with me for many many years. I scored exemption in Paper 1 of Group 1 which really boosted the morale and after 2 attempts I cleared Group 1 of IPCC. I thought to stop there as my aim to fight back to kill the pain was accomplished. I had been regularly visiting CAclubindia.com website for various information. I was once again motivated and decided to attempt for Group 2 of IPCC thinking that I shall loose nothing attempting the examination again. By the mercy of those mighty hands and good wishes of many, I again got Exemption in Paper 5 of Group 2 getting 62 marks. Writing theory was a great difficulty as I was preparing my left hand to make it write ALPHABETS on a four line copy which I used to learn English writing when I was a child. After 2 successive failures to score remaning 88 marks in Auditing & ITSM Paper, in November 2018 attempt, I got 69 in Auditing and 54 in ITSM thus totaling 185 marks. I am thankful to all who supported and made me what I am now. Thanks and Regards.
