Hi Friends,

Tell me in detail i.e. step-by-step) the process of doing accounting in Tally of anyone who is having loads & loads of shares, scrips, options & future transactions. I am more interested in knowing the same in case of Options & Futures.

Kindly acknowledge the same on urgent basis !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In case of futures & options also we will apply the same.

I have a client whose shares, scrips, futures & options accounting we are doing in tally since 3 yrs. but not in the manner told by u. For AY 2011-12 also we did in the same manner but now we wanted to revise the return so we will be doing it as per the method told by u .

Will come up with questions if any?

CAN ANYBODY HELP ME FOR ACCOUTING ENTRY FOR FUTURES & OPTIONS FOR THE YEAR APRIL 2011 TO MARCH 2012- MY CLIENT HAS TWO OR THREE BROKERS ACCOUNTS- HE HAS BOTH FUTURE -STOCKS - PROFIT AND LOSS. I WANT TO KNOW - HOW I CAN DO ENTRY OF FUTURES & OPTIONS BY USING TALLY 7.2 SOFTWARE

EXAMPLE

XYZ BROKER ACCOUNT

FUTURES -

[1] ONE LOT ==Rs. 90 X 4000 QTY- HDIL FUTURE BUY AND SELL SAME DAY - Rs. 95 = MTM PROFIT IS 20000/-

[2] 2ND LOT ===Rs. 90 X 4000 QTY- HDIL FUTURE BUY AND SELL THIRD DAY - Rs. 88 = MTM LOSS IS 8000/-

NETT PROFIT IS Rs. 12000/- EXCLUSIVE OF STT + BROKERAGE+OTHER CHARGES

CALL & PUT [ OPTIONS]

[1] ONE LOT ==Rs. 90 X 50 QTY- NIFTY [4500 STRIKE PRICE] PUT BUY AND SELL SAME DAY - Rs. 95 = MTM PROFIT IS 250/-

Hello

Please download the attached file. Unzip it. Read the covering letter which will explain you everything.

The reports in the zip file are for Cash Segment (i.e. for shares,scrips) but can be applied to F&O. In F&O instead of intraday(speculative),short term,long term P/L there will be only one report of f&o trading P/L.
