Those who have registered for executive programme on or after 01.04.2014 comes under the new training structure and those registered on or before 31.03.2014 comes under the old training structure. So, those who wish to switch-over to the new training can do so. If you had already started your training and wish to switch-over to the new training structure, you are allowed, but the training completed by you till date gets forfeited. You won't get any credit for that training which you have already completed. The training under modified training structure starts afresh.
For those students who are now covered under the old training structure:
1. You can switch-over to the new training structure by sending the application for switch-over (uploaded in the ICSI website) alongwith the training sponsorship documents to the Training department.
2. The switch-over documents are to be sent only at the time of beginning the training.
3. Those who have not completed computer training and SIP are not required to do, if they wish to opt the modified training structure. As such, EDP, PDP, 15 days training in specialized agency need not be done.
4. After passing the executive programme, register for professional programme and pass the professional examination (3 modules).
5. It's better to start training after passing the professional exam so that you need not worry about exams and all. So, you can go for a period of one year training without tensions and anxieties either in a company or with a PCS.
6. After passing professional programme, send the necessary sponsorship documents alongwith the switch-over documents to the training department and after getting the confirmation, begin your training.
7. Don't forget to send the quarterly reports and project topics within the time frame while undergoing training. Failure to do so will be viewed seriously.
8. After completing your training, complete MSOP for 15 days.
9. Finally, send Form-A and other necessary documents to get admitted as an associate member.
