hi all,

i have deducted tds on dated 26-05-07 while making payment and i want to know what is last date for depositing the same.

plz tell me is it 07-06-07 or 07-07-07

Hi every body, I want one clarification on tds part.If a vendor is providing catering srevice (lunch and dinner provided by company to employees) to a company,wheather TDS is to be deducted on this. Vendor is doing billing on monthly basis. Every day company is giving order to the vendor that how many lunches or dinners required.

Hi Rohit, Your case is covered under Section 194C. It is a service contract and will be subjected to TDS @ 2%.

Hi, in continuation of Rohit's question what would be TDS implication if the employees are going out to have their lunch everyday to a nearby restorant.
