Hello Members;

I am Ca Final Student. My Query is as follows:

1. I got an exemption in Ca Final Paper 6 ISCA in May 2010.

I scored 70 marks in paper 8 Indirect Taxes in November 2011, but could not clear that group

can i claim exemption of Indirect Tax Paper?

2. Will my exemption in CA Final Paper 6 ISCA continue which i obtained in May 2010?

3. Now in how many papers of that group i have to appear for May 2012 Exam?

Please guide/advise me in this matter.

You have to write papers 5 6 & 7:) i'm sure. All the best. Can you leave some tips for scoring 70Odd in idt

ur exemption is valid only for next 3 attmpts (excludin the exam u scored the same) Once u avail exemption & u gt anothr exemption then to avail such othr exemption u have to forego the previous exemption. Newys its seems ur exemption in isca has alredy expird....so its not possible 2carry it further. Its bettr 2avail exemption in idt....!!

hi.. exemption in one paper valid for three attempts. so i think ur isca exemption is no one available.. it also says when u have exemption in one paper , u cant get exemption in another paper for three attempts... so not sure about idt exemption.plz see below link.. one file is there. it may clarify ur doubt
