About CA continuation

Hello everyone,

I am a CA dropout from the 2013 batch and had completed CA Inter Group 1 (old course). After almost 10 years, I want to pursue CA again, but I’m unable to log in to my account despite multiple attempts.

Should I start the process all over again, or would it be better to explore other courses? I would appreciate any suggestions or guidance on how to move forward. Your advice is welcome!

Welcome back to the world of CA! Firstly, congratulations on deciding to pursue CA again. It's great that you're willing to restart your journey. Let's address your concerns: 1. *Login issues*: Try the following: - Check your email for any communication from ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India). - Verify your registration details and password. - Use the "Forgot Password" option. - Contact ICAI's helpline or email support for assistance. 2. *Starting over*: You don't need to start from scratch! Since you've already completed CA Inter Group 1 (old course), you can: - Transition to the new course (CA Inter under the Revised Scheme) by opting for the "Conversion Scheme". - Complete the remaining groups and subjects. 3. *Exploring other courses*: Consider alternative courses that complement your existing knowledge and interests, such as: - CMA (Cost and Management Accounting) - CS (Company Secretary) - CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) - MBA (Master of Business Administration) 4. *Next steps*: - Reach out to ICAI for guidance on the conversion scheme and login issues. - Consult with a career counselor or a CA mentor for personalized advice. - Evaluate your interests, skills, and career goals before deciding on an alternative course. Remember, it's never too late to pursue your dreams! You've already taken the first step by deciding to restart your CA journey. Stay determined, and don't hesitate to seek help when needed. Good luck!
